Accommodation

This 5-cabin Lagoon 500 features four queen cabins, each with a private ensuite head, along with a bunk cabin located amidships to starboard. All cabins offer over 7 feet of headroom, opening portlights and overhead hatches for ventilation, air conditioning, and 110V US outlets. The bunk cabin has been converted into a dedicated laundry and storage space complete with a washing machine, dehumidifier, and rack storage for dive gear.

The galley is located to port in the salon and features a four-burner cooktop, double-drawer dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and abundant storage. Additional refrigerators, freezers, and pantry storage are located midships in the port hull, just down the companionway.

Forward in the salon, four large forward-facing hatch-style windows provide excellent natural light and ventilation throughout the interior. The salon features bench seating on two sides surrounding a folding-leaf dining table, creating a spacious and comfortable living area.

The cockpit is centered around a custom teak table with folding leaves and includes a wet bar to port. Storage above the table accommodates fishing gear, while dedicated rack storage to starboard is ideal for paddleboards and other water toys.

On deck, two standout features distinguish this Lagoon 500: the professionally extended swim platforms and the custom flybridge bimini. The extended sugar scoops improve performance underway while creating an exceptional platform for boarding the dinghy and entering the water for diving or swimming. Above, the custom bimini incorporates reinforced walkways on either side of the boom, allowing safe access to the StackPack and flexible solar panels while also providing enough strength to support four hammocks.

Owner's Comments & Boat History

The current owners of Physalia have lived aboard for the past five years while successfully operating a crewed yacht charter business throughout the Virgin Islands. During each off-season, they relocated the vessel to Grenada for scheduled maintenance and storage.

Each year, the vessel was hauled out, stored ashore, and received fresh bottom paint, a thorough interior deep cleaning, complete engine servicing, and sail removal for storage and any necessary repairs. The level of care and preventative maintenance is immediately evident the moment you step aboard, reflecting owners who have consistently invested in keeping the vessel in excellent cruising condition.

The company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. A buyer should instruct his agents, or his surveyors, to investigate such details as the buyer desires validated. This vessel is offered subject to prior sale, price change or withdrawal without notice.
